JERUSALEM (BN24) — At least five people were killed and 15 others wounded in a deadly shooting attack near a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Friday, according to Israel’s national ambulance service. The incident is being investigated as a suspected act of terrorism.

Emergency responders reported that paramedics arriving at the scene discovered victims lying on the road and sidewalk, several of them unconscious and suffering from serious gunshot wounds. Among the injured, at least five remained in critical condition as of Friday evening.
