The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced Wednesday, setting the stage for the second Emmy ceremony of 2024. FX’s “Shōgun” leads with 25 nominations, while the network’s “The Bear” follows closely with 23, setting a record for most nominations by a comedy series in one year.
The winners will be revealed on September 15 (ABC, 8 EDT/5 PDT), eight months after the 75th Primetime Emmys. The ceremony will be broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater and stream the next day on Hulu.
