Manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed the suspension during his pre-match press conference on Thursday, stating, “He won’t be available on Monday. We’ve suspended him for Monday’s game.” Postecoglou emphasized the need for Bissouma to rebuild trust with both the management and his teammates, adding, “The door is open for him and hopefully we can help him realise the decisions he makes impact the group.”
The incident has raised concerns about player conduct and responsibilities.
