Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces 120 New Sexual Assault Allegations

Date:

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the entertainment mogul currently detained on federal charges, is facing a new wave of sexual assault allegations from more than 100 accusers, according to Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee.

At a Tuesday news conference, Buzbee announced he is representing 120 individuals with claims against Combs dating back over two decades. “We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors,” Buzbee stated. “We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.”

Buzbee claimed the allegations include “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, sexual abuse of minors.” He added that 25 of the accusers were minors at the time of the alleged incidents, with one as young as 9 years old.

The lawyer said he plans to file lawsuits in various states within the next 30 days, noting that more than 3,000 individuals have contacted his office with accusations against Combs.

Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff, responded in a statement: “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.” Wolff added that Combs “looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court.”

This development comes as Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty to these charges.

The new allegations follow a series of lawsuits filed against Combs since his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, accused him of assault and sex trafficking last year. Combs settled with Ventura for an undisclosed amount while denying the accusations.

Many of the lawsuits against Combs were filed under New York’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, which allows sexual abuse claims to be filed after the statute of limitations has passed.
