(AP) — Three people died and seven others were rescued after a boat overturned on Lake Geneva Friday as severe thunderstorms swept through southern Wisconsin, authorities said.
The incident unfolded as powerful winds and heavy rain moved across Walworth County, where emergency crews also responded to widespread storm damage that included fallen trees, downed power lines and damaged buildings.
