By A couple on a British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Dublin has been accused of engaging in a sexual act in full view of other passengers, causing shock and disgust among those who witnessed the incident. The alleged behavior occurred on an early morning flight last Tuesday, as the plane crossed the Irish Sea.
Farrah, a 26-year-old passenger from West London, was on the flight with her mother and brother when she noticed the couple’s actions. She claims that the woman was constantly touching the man under a scarf for 15 to 20 minutes during the flight.
“It was very blatant,” Farrah said. “She was constantly, for 15 to 20 minutes of the flight, at it with the guy. They just carried on, which was shocking because there were children on the plane. There was a child running up and down who could have seen that. It was just disgusting to be honest.”
Farrah noticed the couple’s behavior about 38 minutes before the end of the short one-hour journey. She expressed her embarrassment at having to witness the act while sitting with her brother, especially given the close proximity of passengers on the smaller plane.
Several children, aged between four and eight years old, were running up and down the aisles during the flight. Farrah expressed concern that, at their age, they could have easily seen the couple’s actions as they passed by.
“They covered themselves with a scarf, but it was quite obvious, as an adult, what they were doing,” she added.
A spokesperson from British Airways stated that their cabin crew colleagues were not alerted to any issue on board. They emphasized that had they been informed, the crew would have taken the appropriate steps to address the situation.
The incident has sparked outrage among the public, with many calling for stricter measures to prevent such behavior on flights and to ensure the comfort and well-being of all passengers, especially children.
As the story continues to circulate on social media and in the news, British Airways may face increased pressure to investigate the incident further and take appropriate action against the couple if the allegations are found to be true.
