A rooftop party at a high-rise apartment in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, turned violent in the early hours of Sunday morning, leaving at least 10 people injured, including teenagers, according to police reports. The shooting occurred around 12:45 a.m., with nine people sustaining gunshot wounds and one individual injured by broken glass.
All of the victims, ranging in age from 14 to 23, were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Authorities have stated that none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. The shooting took place near the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus; however, university officials have indicated that no students were known to be among those injured or involved in the incident.
