Attorney Tony Buzbee alleged Tuesday that Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually abused a 9-year-old boy, among claims from 120 accusers planning to file lawsuits against the music mogul.
Buzbee, representing the accusers, stated in a press conference that the alleged abuse of the minor occurred at Bad Boy Records’ studio in New York City. “Combs lured the child with promises of a record deal,” Buzbee claimed, detailing one of the most severe allegations against the hip-hop icon.
The Houston-based lawyer announced plans to file lawsuits on behalf of 120 individuals over the next 30 days, with accusations ranging from sexual assault to exploitation. Many accusers, Buzbee said, claim they were drugged before the alleged incidents.
Erica Wolff, one of Combs’ attorneys, vehemently denied the accusations. “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” Wolff stated to the Associated Press.
These allegations come amid Combs’ ongoing legal troubles, including federal charges of sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
Buzbee, known for high-profile cases against celebrities, hinted at broader implications for the music industry. “The lawsuits will include names that will shock you,” he said, suggesting other prominent figures may be implicated.
As of Tuesday, no lawsuits have been filed in any jurisdiction. The claims span incidents allegedly occurring in Los Angeles and New York, at locations ranging from hotels to private residences.
