Pop singer Britney Spears was spotted for the first time since settling her legal dispute with her father, Jamie Spears, an outcome that has reportedly left her “furious,” according to an exclusive report by DailyMail.com.
The 42-year-old “Baby One More Time” songstress, who has to pay Jamie’s legal bills amounting to $2 million while receiving nothing in return, was seen earlier on Thursday in the San Fernando Valley with her ex-boyfriend and convicted felon, Paul Richard Soliz.
Photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show Spears and Soliz attempting to keep a low profile while sitting inside a Mercedes SUV on the side of a road.
Britney, dressed in blue jeans and a white top, was slouched down in the passenger seat, at one point kicking her tan heels up onto the dashboard and cracking the windshield on her side.
She held her smartphone and sported white-rimmed shades, while her former housekeeper, Paul, dressed down in a blue plaid button-up as they prepared to drive off.
Earlier this year, Spears denied rumors of a romantic relationship with Soliz in an Instagram video, stating that she is a “hopeless romantic understanding that being single is awesome.”
However, insider sources have suggested that the pair have taken short trips together and that Soliz has spent the night at Spears’ home.
Britney was most recently married to Sam Asghari, whom she wed in 2022, but Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Soliz has multiple felonies on his record, including possession of a firearm in December 2022 while employed by Spears, and was seen at the San Fernando Superior Court in September 2023 after allegedly violating his probation.
Britney’s latest outing comes in the wake of her shocking settlement with her father, Jamie Spears, in their years-long legal battle.
Insiders claim that Britney is furious about the quiet settlement, as her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, had assured her that she had a solid case.
The singer is now facing legal bills amounting to more than $2 million for her father, in addition to the reported $4 million she has already paid her lawyer.
