Desperate Search Underway as Young Mom and Daughters Vanish, Linked to Mysterious Mexico Trip

Date:

Authorities are racing against time to locate Martha Unger, 23, and her two young daughters, Madilynn Grace Unger, 2, and Haylie Faith Unger, 1, after they mysteriously disappeared from their home in rural Haskell County, Kansas. The unsettling disappearance prompted the Kansas Bureau of Investigation to issue an ‘endangered persons advisory’ shortly after the report was filed on Friday evening.

Martha Unger, 23, was reported missing with her two young daughters on Friday night

Law enforcement officials have put forth a chilling theory suggesting that Unger may have been coerced into traveling to Mexico with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen, reportedly to a religious rehabilitation facility. The connection between Unger and the Klaasens remains unclear, leaving investigators urgently seeking information to verify the well-being of the missing trio.

Family members and concerned individuals have taken to social media, sharing prayers and pleas for their safe return. Unger is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Her daughters have blonde hair and blue eyes. They are believed to be traveling in a white 2015 Ford Explorer bearing Kansas license plate 301RJY.

Meanwhile, Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen, both in their 50s, are described as potentially driving a black and white Chevy Blazer with Mexican tags. Corney Klaasen is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, and was last seen in jeans and a button-up shirt. Elizabeth Klaasen, though her physical description wasn’t provided, appears as a white woman with brown hair and dark-rimmed glasses in a photo shared by the KBI.

Authorities continue to urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of Martha Unger and her children to contact 911 immediately. DailyMail.com has reached out to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation for further updates on the ongoing investigation.
