The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps paid tribute to the fallen soldier, stating on social media, “All Ranks of the Chinar Corps salute the supreme sacrifice of Braveheart Swr Pangala Kartheek, who laid down his life in the line of duty. We express deepest condolences and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family.”

The incident highlights the ongoing security challenges in Jammu and Kashmir as counterterrorism operations continue across the region.
