Sean “Diddy” Combs Files Motion to Dismiss Jane Doe’s Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the 54-year-old rapper and music mogul, has recently filed a motion to dismiss the sexual misconduct lawsuit brought against him by an anonymous woman known as Jane Doe, according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, May 10.

In the court filing, Diddy’s attorneys argue that the amended complaint fails to address the “falsehoods and incurable defects” present in the original lawsuit. They claim that the alleged incident never occurred and that the plaintiff cannot provide specific details about the date or time of the alleged assault, yet “purports to miraculously recall the most prurient details with specificity.”

The motion further asserts that the case should be dismissed with prejudice to protect Diddy from “further reputational injury” and to prevent the waste of party and judicial resources. Diddy has not publicly commented on the dismissal request, and Us Weekly has reached out to his representatives for a statement.

In December 2023, Us Weekly confirmed that Jane Doe had sued Diddy in the Southern District of New York, alleging that she was sex-trafficked and gang-raped by the rapper in 2008 when she was 17 years old. Diddy promptly denied the “sickening allegations” in a statement to Us Weekly, emphasizing that he would fight for his name, family, and the truth.

This lawsuit is just one of several misconduct allegations that Diddy has faced in recent months. In November 2023, his ex-girlfriend Cassie (Casandra Ventura) sued him for rape and repeated physical abuse. Although they settled the suit one day later, several other individuals have since come forward with their own allegations against the music mogul, all of which he has denied.

In March, Homeland Security raided Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Diddy was not present during the raids and has not been arrested or charged with any crime. His lawyer, Aaron Dyer, condemned the allegations and criticized the “gross overuse of military-level force” during the execution of the search warrants, as well as the treatment of Diddy’s children and employees.

As the legal proceedings continue, Diddy maintains his innocence and seeks to protect his reputation and legacy from the mounting allegations of sexual misconduct.
