Cori Broadus, the 25-year-old daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, broke down in tears while shopping for her wedding dress, opening up about her struggles with body image. Broadus is documenting her journey to marriage with fiancé Wayne Deuce, 32, in the E! docuseries *Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story,* which premiered on Dec. 5.
In the show, Broadus shared her insecurities during a confessional interview, admitting she struggles to feel comfortable in her natural body. “I’m really loving the idea of getting married, but being the center of attention is kind of scary,” she said.
While trying on a wedding gown with a fitted bodice and thigh-high slit, Broadus’ friends complimented the look, but she felt differently. “It just wasn’t what I really wanted,” she shared. Breaking into tears, she told her friends, “I don’t like my body. I hate my body.”
Broadus explained that she often wears baggy clothing to hide her figure. “Do you see how I dress on the daily? I wear big clothes so people can’t see how I naturally look,” she said. Despite brushing off the moment as temporary, Broadus acknowledged the emotional toll of the experience, revealing her daily struggles with self-image.
Broadus also reflected on feeling like an “outcast,” citing her larger size compared to her friends and her ongoing health challenges. Diagnosed with lupus at age six and recovering from a stroke earlier this year, she said, “The truth is I’m battling with myself every day.”
Broadus’ fiancé, Wayne Deuce, proposed in November 2022. Their wedding was delayed due to her health challenges but remains a joyful milestone for the couple. Snoop Dogg recently shared on *The Jennifer Hudson Show* that he gifted his daughter $1 million for her wedding.
The second installment of *Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story* airs Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. ET on E!.
