‘The View’ Host Sunny Hostin Slams Trump’s Courtroom Behavior, Says Voters Will Remember

In a scathing critique on the popular talk show “The View,” cohost Sunny Hostin expressed her belief that Donald Trump’s recent antics in court could cost him dearly in the upcoming general election.

Hostin suggested that voters will remember the former president as “Gassy Don” due to reports of his alleged flatulence during his criminal trial.

Hostin began her diatribe by expressing shock at Trump’s recent surge in the polls, catching up to President Joe Biden.

She then proceeded to list several instances of Trump’s questionable behavior in court, including violating a gag order, which led to a $9,000 fine, and the widely circulated rumors of his alleged flatulence.

“ICYMI … multiple outlets have reported DT’s been cutting the cheese in the middle of his criminal trial for alleged hush-money payments made to former adult film star Stormy Daniels — and, late-night hosts and social media users have run wild with the rumors,” Hostin said.

The cohost also mentioned reports of Trump falling asleep on the first day of his trial, leading her to suggest that it’s now appropriate to call him “Sleepy Don.”

Hostin argued that these incidents paint a bad picture of the former president and should disqualify him as a viable candidate in the eyes of voters.

Trump has recently expressed frustration with the courtroom’s temperature, with some speculating that the court cranked up the air conditioning to keep him awake and alert during the proceedings.

Fellow cohost Joy Behar also weighed in on Trump’s alleged gas issue, offering some humorous advice to the former president. “She thinks he needs medication to help keep him from leaking,” Hostin revealed.

The critical comments from “The View” hosts come as no surprise, given the show’s history of opposition to Trump and his policies.

As the 2024 election season heats up, it remains to be seen whether Trump’s courtroom behavior will have a significant impact on his candidacy and how voters perceive him.
