TMZ Exclusive: Brian Cox Slams the Bible as “The Worst Book Ever” and “Just Propaganda & Lies”

In a shocking interview with ‘The Starting Line Podcast,’ Brian Cox, the star of the hit show “Succession,” launched a scathing attack on organized religion, particularly Christianity.

Actor Brian Cox.

The actor pulled no punches, calling the Bible the worst book to ever grace human history, claiming it has duped countless suckers and fools.

During the wide-ranging interview, Cox delved into introspective thoughts on religion, God, and spirituality, ultimately dismissing them all as a bunch of hogwash.

The actor expressed his firm belief that society needs to move towards a matriarchy, but he believes that humans are resistant to this idea due to the influence of the Bible.

Cox specifically pointed to the stories of Adam and Eve, which he believes subjugate women to a lesser role in society and are deeply ingrained in our subconscious even today.

He went on to label the Bible as the greatest propaganda instrument of all time and slammed it as the worst book ever written.

The “Succession” star also stated that God doesn’t exist and that religion is simply a means of control. It’s safe to say that Cox is an atheist who has no time for praying or proselytizing.

The actor seems to believe that humans are being held back by these ancient scriptures.

TMZ reached out to representatives of various religious organizations for comment but has yet to receive a response.
