Nick Cannon, the 43-year-old entertainer and father of 12, has revealed that he has insured his testicles for $10 million. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on Monday, July 1, Cannon explained his decision, stating, “I had to insure my most valuable assets.”
Cannon’s announcement, initially made on social media last month, is tied to his partnership with grooming company Dr. Squatch for their Ball Care line. The company’s press release humorously noted that instead of getting a vasectomy, Cannon is “doubling down on his valuable family jewels.”
Despite the insurance, Cannon clarified that this doesn’t signal plans for more children in the near future, emphasizing he’s “just making sure nothing goes wrong.”
Cannon is father to 12 children with six different women, including twins with ex-wife Mariah Carey. His large family has garnered significant media attention, with Cannon often sharing glimpses of his time with his children on social media.
Bre Tiesi, mother to one of Cannon’s children, praised his ability to manage his large family, stating, “He manages it really well… We all make it work. He’s such a good person, genuinely, and he really cares and he does want to be there.”
However, Cannon has admitted to feeling guilty about not spending enough time with all his children due to his work commitments and being “spread thin.”
The entertainer has previously revealed that he spends $200,000 a year taking his kids to Disneyland, highlighting the financial aspects of raising such a large family.
