Dr. Phil to Beg Trump to Forgive His Opponents in New Interview

Date:

Dr. Phil is set to interview Donald Trump soon and has a crucial message for the recently convicted ex-President: forgive and forget, for the sake of the nation.

The renowned psychologist appeared on “TMZ Live” Monday to announce his upcoming sit-down with Trump, which will be featured in a special titled “Trump Verdict: A Judicial Travesty,” airing Thursday.

Dr. Phil revealed that during their conversation, he will urge Trump to avoid engaging in retaliatory actions if he wins the November election. He believes such behavior could further divide the country and lead to its downfall.

Instead of a cycle of retribution and revenge, which has become synonymous with Trump, Dr. Phil argues that America needs a leader who can focus on pressing public issues. He plans to emphasize this point during their interview.

Dr. Phil has been contemplating the implications of Trump potentially returning to the presidency, especially after conducting a focus group with his live studio audience. The results aligned with current polls, indicating that most people’s views on Trump remain unchanged despite his recent guilty verdict.

The focus group did express some concerns, including one participant’s worry that Trump’s status as a convicted felon might influence their decision at the ballot box.

Currently, Trump appears vindictive following his conviction, publicly denouncing the guilty verdict as a sham and corrupt. He has also dismissed the possibility of serving time behind bars as absurd.

Despite being the first U.S. president to become a convicted felon, Trump continues to enjoy unwavering support from his base, as evidenced by the uproar outside the NYC hearing. This support suggests that anything can happen in the 2024 Presidential Election.

It remains to be seen if Dr. Phil can persuade Trump to adopt a more conciliatory approach. The special promises to be revealing and will air Thursday on ‘Dr. Phil Primetime’ at 8 PM ET.
