Butler, Pennsylvania, July 2024 – The man who was killed at a rally for former President Donald Trump was identified as Corey Comparetore, according to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.

Comparetore, a former fire chief from the area, was remembered as someone who deeply loved his family. “Corey died a hero. Corey dove on his family to protect them last night,” Governor Shapiro said.
