Crete Police Chief Gary Young Jr. revealed a history of complaints between Booth and the victims’ families dating back to 2021. Most complaints came from Booth regarding “driving behavior” and quality-of-life issues in the neighborhood. The victims had reported Booth’s discriminatory behavior once, but declined to escalate the matter at the time.
